Ohio Wants To Legalized Casinos?
Ohio lawmakers they most to respond to voters’ wishes, as a significant majority says it wants legalized casinos in the state.
The Institute for Public Research at the University of Cincinnati surveyed 818 Ohioans on a variety of issues. 60% say they favor casino gambling in Ohio.
The poll is consistent with voter attitudes in past studies.
A statement from the institute said: “While the Ohio Poll has found in the past that a majority of Ohio adults approve of casino gambling in major cities near their home, the poll has also found election day voters unwilling to approve ballot issues that would lead to the legalization of gambling in the state,”.
Ohio legislators are eager to attempt yet again to find an acceptable bill regulating casinos.
