The New York Mets have part of a lot of injuries this season, but it seems as though the Mets are being abnormally punished.
At the moment, the New York Mets have some former stars as Carlos Beltran, Jose Reyes, Carlos Delgado and J.J. Putz on their list. They have been without Ryan Church and Brian Schneider for several periods of time.
In despite of these injuries, the Mets are for a long time near to the top of the National League East. This happens thanks to the awfull stretches by the Phillies and Marlins at the beggining of this season.
Now, they have got a reality check. The Mets were swept by the division leading Phillies, and their fans are trying to demand something from GM Omar Minaya. Something is gonna happend now that the Phillies have exposed their minor league system.
This year will be different for Minaya. He doesn’t have to blame Randolph , and most of players are known to be the big problem as long as the collapses are sitting on the sidelines.
But now nobody should blame others. The New York Mets are continue to be 4 games out of 1st place with Omar Minaya being officially on the clock who’s moving faster these days.
